AVerMedia VISV355AF
I ordered this product to demo iPad applications. The feature set looked great and would allow me to demo in person through a projector, record to AVI or MOV or online by using the device as a web camera. The documentation proclaims that both Windows and OS X are supported. In at least 2 places in the manual it says that the device can be used as a Web Cam when connected to a computer via USB. In neither place does it specify an operating system dependency but after an hour or two of frustration the AverMedia tech support folks told me (unappolegetically) that the web cam feature isn't supported on OS X (I double checked - this isn't ...
